How to hire a great manager?
Use this checklist and ask the right questions to determine if the manager candidate you are interviewing possesses the following:
- Business acumen?
- Great soft skills?
- Clear and concise communication skills?
If your candidate doesn't possess all three, move on. If you settle for less, you will get exactly that. Less.
Your goal is to hire a great manager, so remember to remember the three things I noted above. It's the starting point. It's the line. It's the standard.
