The Palm Treo Pro is targeted to the enterprise with its black finish and white key highlights. I was hoping the device would have that great soft-touch rubberized matte casing since I find that helps me grip the device and looks more like a business device. The Treo Pro has a glossy black covering and is a major fingerprint magnet with the back looking much like the black iPhone 3G. The device is thinner than all other Treo devices which is a great move by Palm since I think most Treo devices are too thick and chunky. The Treo Pro has a Centro rounded look to it with a similar QWERTY keyboard…. I am considering the Treo Pro since I do enjoy using Windows Mobile devices and the great thing about the Treo Pro is that you can use it like a non-touch screen device yet get all the power and functionality of a touch screen device when you need it. The excellent GPS signal acquisition, long battery life, Palm touches like the ringer and WiFi buttons, and standard 3.5mm headset jack are compelling to me.

In an iPhone ad aired in the UK, Apple claims that the iPhone can access "all parts of the Internet," presumably to emphasize the phone's ability to surf the Net almost as well as a desktop. But technically, it's not true -- the iPhone doesn't support Flash or Java. It may be quibbling to some, but it's too far a stretch for the UK's Advertising Standards Authority, which ordered the ad pulled.

NASA confirmed on Wednesday that a computer virus was identified on a laptop computer aboard the International Space Station, which carries about 50 computers.

The virus was stopped with virus protection software and posed no threat to ISS systems or operations, said NASA spokesperson Kelly Humphries.

The outcome is a browser which engineers clearly designed with innovation in mind. In some parts that works, in others it does not. Expect a browser that is vastly more complex than its predecessor and that offers a completely different browsing experience than Firefox.

Firefox is already plenty fast. In one test, it comes in just behind Safari in speed, but in this case, "slightly slower" still means "blazingly fast."

Thanks to Mozilla's pioneering work with TraceMonkey, however, Firefox is about to become even faster. Think massive performance boost.

The growing practice is known as gold-farming; researchers from Manchester University studied the practice.

The industry employs about 400,000 people who earn $145 per month on average. Eighty-percent of workers are based in China.

Manufactured by UTStarcom, the Blitz has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard; a dedicated MyMessaging key that will lead you directly to the messaging menu; a 1.3-megapixel camera; a speakerphone; a music player; and even stereo Bluetooth. Even though you can use V Cast Music with Rhapsody for PC downloads and subscriptions, do note that the Blitz does not support over-the-air music downloads, probably because it doesn't have EV-DO support.
