controller problems with Wii Nintendo's new game system

It seems that people are busting out the screens on their tvs with their wii remote.  Of course the user who let go of the remote by accident while taking a swing while playing is the cause of the problem.  Ah, so use the wrist strap.  But hold on anyway.... the wrist strap has a narrower section that connects the strap with the remote can fray in some instances.

Nintendo defenders blame the users too much on this. If the Wii is directed at non-gamers then how are they supposed to know how hard to swing or what movements are necessary. You swing hard in real tennis so why not in a virtual one?

Its hard to fault the end users on this because the device is based on the idea of swinging an object TOWARDS your TV. At some point the object will slip when it does then the only thing between a $40 Wiimote and a $2000 TV is a 2cent fishing wire wrist strap.
